Last week it was time again for our TechReady event at Wortell. TechReady is an internal event we organize every six weeks. At the event we share knowledge within the company. This edition was a special one. It was called TechReady – NextGen Productivity and a lot of our customers were invited.

I was excited to do a session about the Nintex business process automation platform. Nintex is a well known Microsoft partner, specifically known for its workflow product. It has gained a good position within the SharePoint stack when it comes to automating business processes. Next to its workflow product it has several other products. All of these products together are called the Nintex business process automation platform.

Next to the products mentioned in the above picture, Nintex recently took over a company called DrawLoop. DrawLoop is used for document generation within SalesForce. DrawLoop is now part of Nintex and has now implemented document generation within workflows. With the help of the Nintex Connectors it offers great opportunities in order to get information from different external SaaS offerings and use that data in your document generation process. With the use of templates, this data is inserted into the generated document. An Office Add-in (Task Pane App) helps you creating the template. This all can be used within Nintex workflows. During my session I gave a demo about this and I must admit, it works very smooth.
